'Cipher Stone' - R1189
One of the largest artworks to be cast in optical glass in the UK, Cipher Stone stands over 2m tall and each casting weighs over 250kg. Made for GCHQ Cheltenham, the work is inspired the by the Rosetta Stone, the ultimate symbol of the codebreakers art. The sculpture includes text from literature in binary code and Morse code, deeply engraved so it is accessible to the partially sighted.
